FlexPlate - Powder Coated PEI

The Powder Coated FlexPlate consists of three parts: a magnetic base for the printer bed, and a high-quality spring steel sheet covered with PEI Ultem. It is the perfect surface for 3D printing: durable, easy to manage, and thanks to its flexible design, prints are very easy to remove. Simply bend the plate slightly and the model pops off.

The FlexPlate uses a ferrite core that is more heat resistant than neodymium magnets. This plate can withstand temperatures up to 130°C, making it suitable for ABS and other high-temperature filaments.

PEI Ultem (Polyetherimide) is a reusable, low-maintenance build surface suitable for ABS (with heated bed), PLA (hot or cold), PETG, ABS+, metal-filled, wood-filled, and many other filaments. No additional adhesives are required. PEI allows printing without surface preparation, and no support rafts are needed as parts adhere directly to the surface.

How to Use

Unpack the FlexPlate, attach the magnetic base to your print bed, then place the spring steel plate with PEI on top. Remove the protective film from the PEI and re-level your bed. Prints will release easily after cooling. PLA can print without heat, but a bed temperature of 45°C is recommended. For large or long prints, using an adhesive stick can improve adhesion and release. After printing, let the plate cool, remove it, and gently bend it to release the print. Clean the PEI with 70–91% isopropyl alcohol or mild solvents after each use to maintain optimal adhesion.
