Built for the Creality3D CR-10 V2

This extruder upgrade kit is designed specifically for the Creality CR-10 V2, replacing the original feeder while using the printer’s existing motor.

Bondtech Dual Drive Performance

The kit features a high-performance material feeding system that improves print speed and quality. An adjustable thumbscrew allows fine-tuning of filament pressure. DualDrive ensures consistent grip for all types of filaments, preventing slipping or grinding.

Lower Current Recommended

Due to the gearing ratio, the stepper motor can push filament with significant force. To prevent Bowden tube extrusion in case of clogs, reduce the motor current to about half of the original. Follow the Step-By-Step Guide included for proper adjustment.

Bowden Solution

The Bowden tube is securely held with a 4mm industry-standard push-fit connector, ensuring stable filament feeding.

Reducing Filament Jams

A precise 0.1mm gap between Bondtech gears and SLS-printed housing prevents filament jams. A short PTFE tube between the extruder and filament sensor makes loading and unloading easier.

SLS Printed Housing

The housing is professionally SLS 3D printed with polyamide for maximum strength and precision. Due to slightly increased extruder height, total print height is 390 mm.

Firmware Update

Creality3D firmware must be updated to use this kit. Set E-steps to 415 and adjust Maximum Z Height to 390 mm in your slicer. Follow the Step-By-Step Guide for installation instructions.
