Description

Hybrid Light Technology for Greater Flexibility

FreeScan Combo+ combines blue laser and infrared VCSEL technology to handle a wide range of inspection and measurement tasks. The laser modes provide maximum accuracy and fine detail capture, while the infrared mode enables fast, marker-free scanning of complex objects. This hybrid approach allows a single scanner to cover multiple industrial applications without compromising precision or efficiency.

Four Scanning Modes for Different Applications

FreeScan Combo+ features four optimized scanning modes. Multi-Line Mode uses 50 blue laser lines for rapid data capture of large surfaces. Fine Scan Mode utilizes seven parallel laser lines to capture intricate details with high resolution, while Single-Line Mode is designed for scanning deep holes, slots, and hard-to-reach areas. The infrared mode enables fast marker-free scanning of many objects where reference markers are impractical or unnecessary.

The scanner is certified according to VDI/VDE 2634 Part 3 and ISO 10360 in an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory, providing verified measurement accuracy for industrial inspection, quality control, and dimensional analysis.

Efficient Workflow for Industrial Applications

The compact design and lightweight construction make FreeScan Combo+ comfortable to use during extended scanning sessions. Scan data is processed in FreeScan software and can be exported for use in CAD, reverse engineering, inspection, and additive manufacturing workflows. This makes the scanner a versatile solution for product development, manufacturing, maintenance, and digital documentation.
